Sandip Soparrkar, is one name that needs no introduction. We all know how he is ruling the world of dance for decades. He is known for his charming personality and excellent dancing and acting skills as well as good looks. But have you seen his son Arjun? Looks like we have another Sandip in the making.

This father son duo walked the ramp as showstopper for the grand finale of India Kids Fashion Week season 8, powered by Club Mahindra for Designer Avira, which was choreographed by Shakir Shaikh. Both Sandip and Arjun wore identical black tuxedo making their walk further charming. 10 years ago in the year 2012 they both had walked as showstoppers for the same India Kids Fashion Week held in Mumbai.

While talking to Media Sandip Soparrkar Said, “Walking as a Showstopper with my son Arjun was absolutely special to me at the same time very nostalgic as well, when Arjun was 7 years old we were on the same ramp and today he is 17 years old. Just see how time flies and how fast kids grow.”

Indeed, Arjun did look dapper as a show-stopper at India Kids Fashion show and Sandip was nothing less but proud of his teenage son who is all set to take on the world with his suave personality.

Nowadays the theme considered in the movie has widened its outlook. The film maker just don’t want entertainment to give to the viewers, but much beyond that. They want a theme in the movie that would make the viewer say in excitement that ‘Yes, this is it!’. This is worth watching with family, that will generally widens the child perspective. The child will not just entertained him in those 3 hours of movie, but also be inspired by the movie and he would hence try to have new move in his life. Cinema has a huge impact on people and children. We try to imitate what is portrayed in the reel life in our real life.

Marathi Movie Kaanbhatt is a great movie, seriously an inspiring slot. This is the kind of movie that can be view by everyone, regardless of the age. The movie beautifully captures the life of a young boy ‘Prabhat’, who follows his dream and desire, but destiny has some other plans for him for which he went on a different path. The story depicts the relationship between Ved and Science. He was great strugglers in his life. The movie has portrayed a beautiful lesson to everyone that every child  is different and have different needs in this world.

On the Otherside recently Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar released the trailer of upcoming Marathi Movie “Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha”.

The trailer of this film itself seems to indicate that such a low-quality art may not have been produced in the history of Marathi cinema. Its trailer shows absolutely incorrect scenes and dialogues about the women and children of mill labourers. We wonder if it is the same Mahesh Manjrekar who has played the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film ‘Mi Shivaji Raje Bhosale Boltoy’ and raised the self-esteem of Maharashtrians. There are many things such as filthy abuses, juvenile delinquency, obscene scenes with children in the trailer. After watching the trailer, people all over the country including Maharashtra are expressing intense rage. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, the National Commission for Women and the State Commission for Women (Maharashtra) have also objected to the film and demanded action from the Central Board of Film Certification and the Police.

Commenting on this Producer and Director Aparana S Hosing Said, “Marathi cinema is known for its content based movies. This industry has received appreciation when trying different, rarely it criticised as happening with mahesh manjrekar’s recent film. Wrong or right is debatable but a lot depends on trade and those who control the trade. A children film can range from child education to sexual abuse but trade it seems is more interested in Sexual and abusing content and the audience on the other hand support both while keeping an emotional connect with the first type. Kaanbhatt movie was Highly appreciated by family audience and international film festival, but not so warm acceptance by so called sitting on top of heirarchy in trade. It’s not just about director a lot depends on the commercial aspect of the film and we have to see through that also”.

We need More movie like Kaanbhatt to educate our Child.

आयोजक अशफाक शाह ने बताया कि यह राजस्थान में आयोजित होने वाला नेशनल लेवल का ब्यूटी पेजेंट है। इस पेजेंट में देश के पाँच अलग अलग राज्यों से प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया है। टोटल 30 मॉडल्स का चयन फिनाले राउंड के लिए किया गया है। जिसमें मिस केटेगरी की 13 व मिसेज केटेगरी की 17 मॉडल्स शामिल हैं। सभी ने अपने अपने लेवल पर डिफरेंट एक्टिविटीज के जरिए जूरी मेंबर्स को इम्प्रेस किया।

इस ग्रैंड फिनाले इवेंट में ड्रेसेज कलेक्शन डिज़ाइनर रजनी कौर खान व शालिनी शर्मा द्वारा एवं ज्वेलरी कलेक्शन ममता राठौड़ ने शोकेस किया। मॉडल्स का खूबसूरत मेकओवर जया सोलंकी व ज्योति मनराल  द्वारा किया गया।

After a long journey from Kotdwar (a city in Uttarakhand) to Mumbai, Rohandeep Singh Bisht emerges as a successful film and TV producer along with distributor and marketing man of many big Hollywood, Hindi and Marathi films in India. Rohandeep born in a middle-class family and he still adores his hometown city Kotdwar. In the midst of a busy lifestyle in the film industry, Rohandeep singh seeks peace only in his paternal hometown. While sitting in his Mumbai’s office in Andheri west, Rohandeep confidently shared his life journey experiences and yet got emotional. After the success in film Marketing and Distribution Rohandeep Singh has started new producrion house name is Jumping Tomato Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (Sister consultant company of Jumping Tomato Marketing Pvt. Ltd.) Jumping Tomato Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. will be focus on Production and Line Production. He is already started pre-production of two web Series tentative title ‘Nark’ and ‘Greed’. The film will be shoot in Uttarakhand. The story is based true incident.

1. Why an Engineering degree holder came to Bollywood?
My native village is Chaur near Tadkeshwar Mahadev (Pauri Garhwal). My grandfather, Late. Shri Paan Singh Bisht was the most educated and intelligent man of my village. He loved me so much and his memories are still with me. My father Yudhvir singh Bisht and Mother Maheshwari Devi always taught me good manners and value of family and life. I was attracted to cinema since childhood. I did my High school from Maharshi Vidya Mandir Public School in Kotdwar and then intermediate in  T.C.G school. I went to Haryana for my Engineering course, where I got my degree in mechanical engineering from JCD College of Engineering,  Sirsa.

2. Being a writer, any aspect which people don’t know about you?

People know Rohandeep Singh Bisht as a businessman of film industry, but I also have an emotional and creative writer’s side. In 2015, my first novel, ‘Still waiting for you” received a lot of praise. Nowadays, I am working to publish my second novel ‘Majnu Mastana’, hopefully, it will publish in August 2021.
3. How you started your Bollywood Dream?
I was keen in writing , Marketing , Distribution and Production & Film programming & Exhibition   but before that I wanted to establish myself. My father was not very happy with my decision to go into film industry, and he never boosted me for it. After finishing my mechanical engineering studies, I went to join  Endurance company (Bajaj Auto ) in Pune. Machines were never my first love, so I quit my job of that big company and went straight to Mumbai, where I started a film distribution & exhibition business.
This was the period of my life when I had tasted a few sweet and many sour experiences. Some films did a poor business and some got caught in the old traditional film distribution ways and hurt the business with great loss which taught me many business lessons.
Mumbai: one and only place fulfill your Bollywood dreams
To fulfill the Bollywood dreams, one must have to come to Mumbai. But this was not easy for me. Kotdwar to Pune  via  Mumbai was not a successful journey for me.
This time, I added my film distribution experience with the professional marketing rules. Many Hollywood and Bollywood films have been distributed from my ““Jumping Tomato Marketing Pvt ltd” distribution company, like, Khaap, Bamboo, Listen Amaya, Rajdhani Express, Shortcut Romeo ,What the fish, Toilet: Ek prem katha, Death Wish, Godzilla 2, Notebook, Troy, Jumanji, Final Exit, and many more. Content of Marathi cinema really inspired me and then I produced and distributed many Marathi projects like, WhatsApp love , Dome , Miss u Miss, Berij Vajabaki,  Miss U  Miss, Peter and Oh my Ghost.
4. How you see a film  production?
As a co-producer, I have made films, Shortcut Romeo. I did the producer , distribution and presented my film, “Thodi Thodi-si Manmaniyan” which was made tax free by the government of Uttarakhand. I also co-produced a television show “Hitler didi”. That was a good experience. This year, I am working tirelessly on the production and distribution. Keeping in today’s generation and demand in mind, my team is writing contents for web-series along with films and TV shows. Audience loves good content and then marketing and distribution are also important parts. After the successful release of two big Marathi films, “Peter” and “Oh my Ghost”, we are soon going to announce much better films.
5. My dream project: 100 Days in Heaven
Nowadays, Rohandeep Singh is in news for his new reality TV Show, ‘100 Days in Heaven’. This adventurous show is going to be filmed in the beautiful natural sites of Uttarakhand. Show has already done the shooting of their first schedule in Mumbai. The bigger chunk of the show is going to be shot in Uttarakhand.

Talking about the new show and its planning, Rohandeep says, ‘This show ‘100 days in heaven’ is a huge TV reality show going to be shot in Uttarakhand and we are going to feature mountaineers from all around the world. ‘100 days in heaven’ is a dream project of Avdhesh Bhatt. This year we are also going to make two web series for OTT. Stories have been approved; we have already started casting for the show. For these shows, we have signed an agreement with ZEE network . The concept idea of this show was given by my business partner and mountaineer, Avdhesh Bhatt.

Miss World America WA Shree Saini recently donated her Cadillac Escalade car to children in need, through Wheels for Wishes & Wellness, a nonprofit that has helped grant over 10,000 wishes for children and had $78 million in donations. This car will now enable that family to have better access to their job, become self-sufficient and allow their kids easier access to their education.

“When we leave this world, we take nothing with us. So why not give it all away while we are here? Instead of always thinking of ways we can be benefited, think of ways you can benefit the world. I encourage you to take action and find ways to give back. Instead of waiting till someone asks you for help, take initiative,” said Shree.

As an old adage goes, ‘ New games need new mindsets’, the space of Indian Entertainment is witnessing some new disruptions with novel mindsets. Leading the trend is the new OTT Platform which intends to exploit its films theatrically before traditional streaming. NET5 is the OTT Platform which is in the process of releasing Hollywood and International content in Cinemas before making it available to its digital subscription base. With almost two films to be released in every month, NET5 is widening the reach by dubbing it in various Indian languages.

With sudden eruption of OTT Platforms and majority of content preferring this new breakthrough, the scene at Cinema Hall is quite dismal. This move will ensure a steady flow of content to Cinemas before they are consumed on digital space. The move looks positive and timely !
